Promoting the trade in oils and fats, and oilseeds
The Federation’s work is dedicated exclusively to oilseeds, oils and fats, and edible ground nuts.
Our primary function is the publication of standard contract forms for the international trade in these commodities, the supervision of technical procedures to ensure appropriate execution of agreed contract terms and the management of an arbitration and appeals system.
Our two FOSFA sections are the custodians of these services and dedicated to ensuring that the Federation’s policies, procedures, and priorities in all these areas are fulfilled. Our Oilseeds Committee and Oils and Fats Committee are informed with expertise, insight, and guidance by our specialist contracts, arbitration and appeals, and technical committees.
The Chair and Vice Chair of each section committee also sit on Council.
