Ensuring trading is fair and trustworthy
FOSFA International’s standards, policies and procedures are determined by our members through an elected Council and specialist committees. The Council also guides and oversees the priorities and activities of our secretariat who manage the affairs of the Federation and deliver its strategic objectives.
The Council ensures our contracts remain relevant and valuable to the trade. Good governance is coordinated and accomplished by utilising our members’ knowledge and experience through Council and specialist committees who ensure the Federation discharges its responsibilities appropriately.
Our nine Council members are highly knowledgeable and have extensive experience of the industry. Serving on Council is the President and Deputy President of the Federation, Immediate Past President, the Chair and Vice Chair of the two Section committees, Chair of the Contracts committee, and a representative of the Netherlands Oils, Fats & Oilseeds Trade Association (NOFOTA), who has a non-voting role.
