Trade Education - Residential Courses The Federation holds training programmes for the trade which are globally recognised. There are two levels of residential courses (annually) which offer unique training facilities for all aspects of the oilseeds and oils and fats trades. Currently they are held in the UK, just outside London. Key note speakers from the trade, industry and kindred organisations present the course subjects. Middle Managers Course (22-27 June 2008) This is a globally recognised trade managers programme for the oilseeds, oils, fats and groundnut trades. The week long management course covers all aspects of current trade practices and regulations, as well as introducing specialist case studies and group discussions. It is aimed at trade managers with a minimum of three years experience in the trade. Registration Form Basic Introductory Course (7-12 September 2008) This week long comprehensive course covers elementary aspects relating to the international trade in oilseeds, oils, fats and groundnuts. The syllabus covers FOSFA contracts, contract referred documents, arbitration and appeal, shipping, insurance, commodity banking and technical matters. It is aimed at junior members of the trade/industry with little or no knowledge/experience in a trading environment. Registration Form Trade Education
