Oils & Fats

Beginning with acidity and ending with winterisation, the glossary includes words, terms and the propositions that cover the basic organic chemistry required to understand the technical terms used in the industry.

Oilseeds

From admixture/impurities, cargo sweat and hook damage, through to inherent vice, phytosanitary certificate and weighbridge weighing, the glossary lists terms that will be used in the oilseeds trade.

Oleochemicals

Terms and words used in the oleochemicals industry include dibasic acids, hydrolysis, lipid and soapstock. The glossary also explains the meaning of acronyms such as FFB, FAME and TOFA.
